Chicken Fillet Stewed in Sour Cream

  • Chicken fillet – 2 Pieces

  • Garlic – 2-3 Cloves

Directions

  1.  First you need to wash, dry and cut the breast into medium pieces. If desired, the recipe for making chicken fillet stewed in sour cream can be slightly changed and use not only the breast, but also other parts of the chicken. The only thing to consider is that the cooking time may increase.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Since the onion will be stewed, it is not necessary to grind it, even if the dish is intended for children who do not like onions. In the process, the onion will be soaked in chicken juice and sauce and will be incredibly tasty.
  3. Pour some vegetable oil into the pan and send the breast there. You can use butter if  esired. Fry the chicken for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Put the onion to the lightly fried fillet. Also, chicken fillet stewed in sour cream at home can be cooked with carrots, bell peppers and tomatoes, for example. Fry the chicken with onions for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. The main ingredient of this dish is the sauce. Sour cream must be salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add garlic, peeled and pressed through a press, as well as a little mustard and nutmeg. Mix everything well.
  7. Add the sour cream sauce to the pan and bring to a boil. Simmer fillets over low heat until tender. Depending on the size of the pieces, it will take 10 to 20 minutes. You can serve the dish with any side dish (and if you add more different vegetables, then an independent dish), sprinkle with fresh herbs.
