Chicken Fricassee with Cheese Instructions

  2. Wash 300 grams chicken fillet and cut into small pieces. Add to the pan with the onions and fry over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with 0.5 teaspoons salt and 2 pinches ground black pepper.
  3. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour over the chicken and onions. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Cut 100 grams cream cheese (or processed cheese) into small pieces. Add 150 grams cream (or sour cream) and cheese to the pan. Stir over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Continue cooking over medium heat for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally. If the sauce becomes too thick, add water gradually, stirring between additions, until you reach the desired consistency. Cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
