Chicken Liver Appetizer

Prepare a tender chicken liver appetizer for dinner with sour cream and cheese. Chicken liver dish is very easy to prepare. Serve the appetizer in separate portion tins.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Chicken liver – 700 g
  • Onions – 300 g
  • Sour cream – 6 tbsp
  • Cheese – 120 g
  • Olive oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt (sea) – to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Ingredients for a chicken liver snack.
  2. Cut the onion into large cubes. Cut the liver into cubes. Fry the onions, stirring occasionally, in a pan with heated olive oil until tender (until translucent or light golden brown)
  3. Add the liver to the onion. Fry until tender over medium heat (a few minutes to keep the liver soft), stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Divide the liver into molds (the volume of the mold-cup is 150 ml). Add 1 tbsp sour cream in each mold
  5. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Divide 20 g into each mold.
  6. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 5-7 minutes. Serve the chicken liver appetizer hot. The chicken liver goes well with buckwheat porridge, potato dishes, vegetable salads.
