Chicken Quiche

We love all kinds of open pies, so we are sharing with you the recipe for a new chicken quiche. This is the perfect option for a treat for the arrival of guests or something to take with you on a picnic.

Cook: 1 hour

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 250 g puff pastry
  • 1 medium onion
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 100 gr bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • 220 ml cream 30% fat
  • salt, freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Peel and chop the onion. Cut the bacon into 1 cm cubes. Cut the chicken fillet into 1.5 cm cubes. Put the bacon in a frying pan, put on medium heat, fat. Add onion and chicken, stir fry for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, salt, pepper, and cool.
  2. Preheat oven to 200’C. Beat eggs with cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Roll out the whole dough sheet or cut it into 4 pieces for portion molds. Place the dough in one globule or 4 baking tins, keeping the sides covered. Chop the dough frequently with a fork.
  4. Spread the chicken, bacon, and onion over the dough, cover with the egg mixture, garnish with cherry halves.
  5. Bake the quiche in the center of the oven until the dough and filling are done, about 30 minutes. Serve hot or chilled.
