Before cooking, the chicken breast is marinated in orange juice. Oven-baked chicken fillet wrapped in bacon is a great hot snack. Juicy, beautiful and very tasty!
Ingredients
Chicken breast (fillet) – 800 g
Smoked bacon – 250 g
Oranges – 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon.
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
For filing (optional):
Leaf salad
Tomatoes
Directions
Prepare all the ingredients for the bacon-wrapped chicken rolls. It is better to take fillets fresh, not frozen. This will make the meat juicier.
Cut the chicken breasts across into strips 3 cm thick. Place in a deep bowl.
Squeeze the juice out of the oranges. Pour freshly squeezed orange juice over chicken fillet and refrigerate bowl for 2-3 hours.
Slice the smoked bacon into long, thin strips.
Remove the chicken fillet from the marinade, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Then wrap each piece of chicken with a strip of smoked bacon.
Transfer the bacon-wrapped chicken to a greased baking sheet.
Bake chicken rolls in bacon in the oven for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 ° C. Once the bacon is browned and the chicken turns white, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
The bacon sticks well to the chicken, giving it a juiciness and smoked flavor.
Place hot bacon-wrapped chicken rolls on a lettuce leaf and serve with fresh or pickled vegetables.
