Chicken Schnitzel in Breadcrumbs

Chicken breast schnitzel breaded with rusks is an unusual and very tasty chicken dish that can be prepared in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast – 1 pc. (450 g)
  • White bread – 10 slices
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Milk – 2-3 tablespoon.
  • Flour
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Spices to taste

Directions

  1. Wash the chicken breast thoroughly with cold water and cut into 2 pieces.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into thin slices.
  3. Beat off the meat and salt each piece a little.
  4. Now start cooking crackers. Remove the rough crust from the bread slices. Then cut into cubes.
  5. Dry the bread in a frying pan or in the oven. The croutons are ready in about 10 minutes.
  6. Beat the egg with a culinary whisk, season with salt, add spices.
  7. Then add milk (optional!).
  8. Dip the chicken fillet in flour.
  9. Then dip in beaten egg.
  10. Roll in breadcrumbs.
  11. Start frying. Preheat a frying pan. Put the schnitzel in breadcrumbs in the pan.
  12. Fry in a large amount of vegetable oil (you can also add ghee) over medium heat, 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. When the schnitzel is ready, place on a paper towel to remove excess grease.
  13. Schnitzel in breadcrumbs is ready!
