Ingredients

  • 400 g chicken, (schnitzel, fillet or sliced meat)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small Can / s pineapple, in pieces
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can mushrooms, sliced
  • Curry powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • cornstarch
  • milk

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into strips, finely dice the onion and garlic.
  2. Fry the meat vigorously in hot oil. Add onion and garlic and fry briefly. Then add the corn, the mushroom slices and the pineapple pieces with the liquid. Bring the whole thing to the boil briefly and season with plenty of curry, salt and pepper. Let simmer gently for about 10 minutes.
  3. If you like it creamier, you can mix some cornstarch with cold milk and pour it into the boiling sauce. Then stir well and remove from the plate, otherwise it will be too firm.
  4. Basmati rice or (whole grain) noodles go very well with it.
