Chicken Thighs Baked with Cheese, Garlic Sauce

by Editorial Staff

The recipe for chicken thighs baked with cheese and garlic sauce is very simple – no pre-frying or marinating. Put the thighs in a mold, rub with salt and spices, stuff with cheese, brush with sauce and wait for the oven to do all the work! Chicken meat turns out to be soft, with melted cheese inside and a fragrant crust on top.

Chicken Thighs Baked with Cheese, Garlic Sauce Instructions

  1. Line a baking dish with foil and brush with vegetable oil.
  2. Rinse the chicken thighs and pat dry with a paper towel. Place the prepared chicken thighs in the mold, skin side up.
  3. Season the meat on all sides and rub with the chicken spice mixture.
  4. Cut the hard cheese into thin slices.
  5. Gently separate the skin from the thigh. Place a few slices of cheese on top of the meat and cover with the chicken skin.
  6. Prepare the rest of the thighs in the same way.
  7. Rinse the dull, dry, and chop finely. Peel and chop the garlic. For the garlic sauce, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, pepper mixture, dill, and garlic in a deep bowl.
  8. Spoon all ingredients into a thick, homogeneous sauce.
  9. Apply 1 rounded teaspoon of sauce to each chicken and spread over the entire surface.
  10. Bake the chicken thighs in a preheated oven for 40 minutes. If the meat is browned quickly on top, cover it with a sheet of foil. Check the readiness by piercing the thickest piece of the thigh with a knife. If clear juice flows out, then the chicken is ready.
