  • 16 chicken wings
  • 1 large onion (s), finely chopped
  • 250 ml soy sauce
  • 200 g suar, brown
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, ground
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 60 ml sherry, drier

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings, then cut at the joint. Mix the onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger and garlic and mix with the sherry.

  3. The wing parts are put in a frying pan and fried on the highest level for 20 minutes (approx. 10 minutes for each side) until they are nice and brown. The sauce is poured over the chicken wings and then everything is boiled at the highest temperature for 2 to 3 minutes. The chicken wings need to be stirred at least once so that the sauce is evenly distributed.

  5. Alternatively, you can marinate the chicken pieces in the sauce overnight (turn them a few times if necessary) and then cook them in the oven.
  6. The oven should be preheated to 190 ° C, the chicken wings are spread out on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and baked in about 40 to 45 minutes. During the baking process, you should occasionally spread a little marinade on the chicken wings so that a crispy crust forms.
