Instructions

  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight and then cook for 15 minutes if necessary. Dice the onion, roast in olive oil and leave to cool.
  2. Drain the strained chickpeas and blend them with eggs, curd cheese and olive oil, not too finely. Mix in the breadcrumbs and onions, press in the garlic cloves, add the herbs, mix everything well and season with salt and pepper. Let rest for a few minutes, then form 8 loaves, brush with oil and grill or fry in the pan.
  3. A good vegetarian grill alternative! To go with it: herb or rocket sauce.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
