This extraordinary chocolate cake is super easy to make and delicious. A cookie and nut cake with chocolate icing, perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
For the cake:
Butter – 200 g
Shortbread cookies – 400 g
Honey – 2 tbsp
Walnuts (optional) – 75 g
Black chocolate (at least 60% cocoa) – 200 g *
For glaze:
Condensed milk – 200 g
Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoon
Sugar (optional) – 2 tablespoon
Butter – 70 g
Instructions
Break the cookies into large pieces. Melt the butter and honey over low heat. Add chocolate and remove from heat. The chocolate should melt completely. Add nuts to the cookies. Pour the melted chocolate.
Transfer the mixture to a mold lined with baking paper or cling film, tamp. Chill the chocolate biscuit cake for about 5-6 hours.
For the glaze, mix cocoa with condensed milk. Melt the butter. Pour the cocoa mixture into it and cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture becomes glossy. Remove from heat immediately.
Remove the chocolate cake without baking from the mold. Cover with glaze on top. Decorate the chocolate cake to taste.
