Chocolate Cookies with Coffee Glaze

Chocolate cookies with coffee glaze are so delicious and simple to cook.

Ingredients

  • Flour – 2.5 cups
    Butter – 200 g
    Sugar – 0.75 cups
    Brown sugar – 0.25 cups
    Black chocolate – 55 g
    Egg – 1 pc.
    Instant coffee (powder) – 1 tablespoon
    Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon

  • For the chocolate glaze:
    Powdered sugar – 1 glass
    Cream or milk – 2 tablespoon
    Instant coffee (powder) – 2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Leave the oil at room temperature until softened. Melt the chocolate and cool. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, beat the butter into a lush cream. While whisking, add sugar, melted chocolate, vanilla, egg, and coffee powder.
  3. Gradually introduce flour into the dough. To stir thoroughly.
  4. Roll the dough into a ball, flatten it, divide into 8 equal parts. Roll each piece into a strip 45 cm long. Cut each strip into 6 pieces.
  5. Place the pieces on a baking sheet at a distance of 5 cm from each other. Using the prongs of a fork, mark a pattern along with the blocks.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from a baking sheet, cool on a wire shelf.
  7. Heat the cream in the microwave (15 seconds at maximum power). Add coffee, stir until dissolved. Stir all the time, add powdered sugar.
  8. Dip each edge of the biscuits in the icing and place them on a wire rack.
