Ingredients

  • 250 g quark
  • 250 g flour
  • 50 g butter, soft
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 100 g chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. First chop the chocolate bar. (Any chocolate can be used here). Put in a bowl and add flour and baking powder.
  2. Place the eggs in a second bowl and add salt, sugar and vanilla sugar. Whip everything on the highest level for a good 3 minutes, until a light, creamy mixture is formed.
  3. Then add the soft but not runny butter and continue beating vigorously.
  4. Now add the quark and stir in again briefly (it is best to use a spoon here).
  5. Finally add the flour and chocolate mixture and stir everything vigorously until everything has combined well.
  6. (The dough should be a little more humid)
  7. Now grease a baking sheet well or line it with parchment paper.
  8. Cut out the dough with a tablespoon and place 8 large or 10 smaller rolls on the baking paper!
  9. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes at 200 ° C top / bottom heat or 180 ° C fan oven.
  10. (Please check after about 15 minutes, when the rolls are already slightly dark, turn off the oven and take out the rolls)
  11. After the baking time has ended, let the rolls rest on the baking sheet for another 5 minutes!
