Chocolate Dessert with Chili

by Editorial Staff

A delicious mousse dessert can be prepared based on cream, chocolate, and eggs. Those with a sweet tooth will certainly appreciate it. Well, the secret and a kind of zest in the mousse is the presence of a small amount of hot pepper: in the desert, this spice is felt in a completely new way. Thus, the combination of spicy and sweet makes the taste of the dessert completely indescribable.

Cook: 40 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Black chocolate – 70 g
  • Cream 33% – 150 ml
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Hot pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. You need a few ingredients to make a chocolate mousse: eggs, chocolate, cream, and hot peppers. The cream should be well chilled.
  2. We melt the chocolate over steam, not exceeding the melting temperature of more than 45 degrees. Leave to cool. We make sure that the chocolate is cold, but does not lose its fluidity.
  3. Break the egg, separating the yolk from the protein.
  4. In separate bowls, beat the egg white with the addition of salt into foam and grind the yolk to white.
  5. Combine the cooled chocolate with the whipped yolk.
  6. We mix.
  7. Whip the cooled cream into a strong foam. Be careful not to interrupt, otherwise, the cream will turn into butter.
  8. Grind dry pepper pods into powder using a spice mill. From the received amount of ground pepper, we take a pinch (the pepper is very hot, so you need to add it in dosage), combine with a spoonful of cream and a spoonful of proteins. Mix and add to the egg-chocolate mass.
  9. Combine the whipped cream (we will leave a third for decoration) with the egg-chocolate mass and whipped proteins.
  10. Mix gently.

Enjoy your meal!
