Chocolate Gingerbread Cookie

Gingerbread cookies, along with tangerines and a Christmas tree, are one of the symbols of the New Year and Christmas. A truly wintertime dish that evokes the atmosphere of a fairy tale and expectation of a miracle.

Ingredients

  • Butter – 100 Grams
  • Sugar – 100 Grams
  • Flour – 300 Grams
  • Ground ginger – 1 Tbsp. the spoon
  • Cocoa – 1 Art. the spoon
  • Honey – 3 Art. spoons
  • Baking Dough – 1.5 Teaspoons
  • Ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Nutmeg – 1 Pinch

Directions

  1. Combine soft butter, sugar and beat with a mixer.
  2. Add honey.
  3. Add the egg and beat again until smooth.
  4. Add ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa to the dough and stir.
  5. Add flour and baking powder and knead the dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and put it briefly in the refrigerator.
  6. Roll out the finished dough and cut the cookies of the desired shape. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes at 180 degrees.
