Instructions

  1. Put the flour, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, 100 g margarine in flakes and 1 egg in a mixing bowl. Warm 250 ml milk lukewarm. Crumble in the yeast and dissolve. Pour milk into the flour mixture and knead into a smooth dough. Possibly add a little more flour. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  2. Finely chop the chocolate. Knead the yeast dough with the chocolate chips on a floured work surface. Shape into a roll (approx. 30 cm long) and cut into 12 slices. Place 2 of the well-drained mandarin fillets in the center of each slice.
  3. Shape the dough into balls and place in a greased springform pan (28 cm diameter) sprinkled with flour. Let rise again in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
  4. Heat the rest of the milk with the rest of the margarine. Pour the heated margarine milk over the yeast balls and bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil after 20 minutes.
  5. If you like, you can have vanilla sauce with it. I sprinkle with powdered sugar or use a powdered sugar frosting.
