Ingredients

  • 250 g butter, melted, room temperature
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 250 g marzipan
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 270 g flour, sifted
  • 60 g cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 110 g chocolate, dark, rouhly chopped
  • 60 g hazelnuts, roasted, chopped
  • 45 g almond (s), roasted, chopped
  • 45 g pistachios, whole

For the glaze:

  • 150 g chocolate, dark, chopped
  • 150 g whipped cream
  • 10 g cocoa powder, sieved
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Beat sugar, marzipan and eggs for 10 minutes. Stir the milk into the egg mixture. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, sift into a large bowl. Add the egg mixture and carefully mix together with a whisk.
  2. Fold in the hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios and chocolate. Carefully stir in the liquid butter. Pour the mixture into a greased form and bake it in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 45 minutes, then make the stick test and bake a little longer if necessary.
  3. For the glaze, bring the cream to the boil, stir in the cocoa and chocolate and briefly heat up again. Turn the cake out of the pan, let it cool and cover with the ganache!
