Ingredients

  • 330 ml milk
  • 1 packet pudding powder, chocolate
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 bar chocolate, whole milk, cut into pieces
  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 125 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 g couverture, whole milk, chopped into pieces
  • 70 g couverture, white, chopped into pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Filling:
  3. Mix 3 tablespoons of milk with pudding powder. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil, then stir in the mixed powder and sugar. Bring to the boil briefly, then allow to cool slightly. Stir in half of the chocolate chips.
  4. Dough:
  5. Mix the flour, baking powder and remaining chocolate chips together.
  6. In another bowl, whisk the egg lightly. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and milk and stir briefly. Fold in dry ingredients until moist.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the wells of a 12-cup muffin pan. Put 1 teaspoon each of the pudding on the dough. Spread the remaining chocolate pieces on the filling and fill up with the rest of the batter.
  8. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C on the middle rack for about 20 minutes. Let muffins rest for about 5 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  9. Melt both types of couverture separately in a water bath. Dip the top of the muffins in the dark couverture, drain and decorate with the light couverture.
