Instructions

  1. Bring the milk to the boil with butter and salt. Meanwhile, mix the starch with the water, cocoa and sugar.
  2. Remove the milk from the stove and stir in the cocoa-sugar mixture. Put back on the stove, bring to the boil and simmer for a minute. Pour into a dish rinsed with cold water and put in a cool place.
  3. I put everything in small pudding molds, so the kiddies don`t argue about who gets more or less.
  4. Another tip: You can avoid the pudding skin that forms when it cools down by placing cling film directly on the pudding.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
