Chocolate Sandwiches

Chocolate Sandwiches Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs and milk in a large, shallow bowl.
  2. Make two sandwiches with four slices of bread and chocolate so that the pieces of chocolate do not protrude over the edges of the bread.
  3. Dip both sides of the sandwiches in the egg and milk mixture (leave for 10-20 seconds to soak the mixture a little into the bread).
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet. Place the chocolate sandwiches in a skillet and grill over medium heat (you can press them with a spatula from time to time) until golden brown (2-3 minutes on each side).
  5. Place the finished chocolate sandwiches on a plate covered with a paper towel (to absorb the excess oil).
  6. Cut the sandwiches in half and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  7. The dessert will be quite rich, so it’s best served after a light meal.

Bon Appetit!
