Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • 100 g suar
  • 80 ml oil
  • 50 g almond (s), round, alternatively round hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 300 g buttermilk, alternatively sour milk
  • 12 Confectionery, Toffifee
  • some couverture or cake icing
  • 12 paper cases

Instructions

  1. These toffifee muffins are a sweet sin. The preparation of these delicious, chocolatey pieces is uncomplicated, they taste great and look tempting.
  2. 1. Put the eggs, sugar, oil and buttermilk in a bowl and whisk intensely with the whisk of the mixer.
  3. 2. Then stir in the flour, ground almonds, cocoa and baking powder one after the other and only briefly. So there may still be smaller lumps. Alternatively, all dry ingredients can be mixed together before stirring in.
  4. 3. Now prepare a muffin tin by filling the hollows with paper liners. These are now about three-quarters filled with the prepared dough. Place a toffifee on top of the dough without pressing it in, it sinks by itself during the baking process.
  5. 4. Put the mold in the preheated oven and bake the muffins at 180 degrees, fan-assisted 160 degrees, for about 20 minutes. At the end of the process, maybe do the chopstick test.
  6. 5. Leave the baked muffins in the tin for approx. 10 minutes and then place them on a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. 6. Liquefy the couverture or cake icing and decorate the muffins with it.
  8. 7. Have fun baking and then have a good appetite!
