Chop With Pineapple Ingredients

  • Pork (balyk part) – 1 kg
  • Canned pineapple – 340 g (from 1 can)
  • Canned corn – 3 tbsp
  • Sweet onion (Yalta) – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 300 g
  • Vegetable oil – 20 g (for greasing parchment)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Chop With Pineapple Instructions

  1. Cut the pork into 2 cm thick pieces.
  2. Place plastic wrap on the table, put a meat piece on it, cover with plastic wrap, and pound on both sides until thin. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Drain the canned pineapple and cut into slices.
  4. Chop the onion and mix with the pineapple slices and corn.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly brush with vegetable oil.
  6. Arrange the pounded meat pieces on the parchment and distribute the pineapple filling evenly over each piece.
  7. Top each piece with grated cheese.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 25-30 minutes, until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 63°C (145°F).
  9. Transfer the cooked pork chops to a serving dish.
