Chopped herring forshmak with curd cheese has a delicate and mild taste, because there are no onions. Serve with brown bread, crackers, chips, or fill tartlets with it.

Lightly salted herring (fillet) – 150 g
Curd cheese – 80 g
Sour cream – 1-2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Black pepper – to taste
Dill – for decoration (to taste)
Directions
Prepare products for chopped forshmak with curd cheese.
Cut lightly salted herring into fillets, i.e. remove skin and bones. Chop it finely with a knife.
Add curd cheese and sour cream to the herring. Add pepper to taste.
Stir well. Taste it, you may want to add salt or pepper.
Spread cling film. Put herring pate on it.
Roll gently and roll the edges like candy. Send forshmak with curd cheese to the refrigerator for 40-60 minutes to cool.
Chop the dill finely.
Take out the chopped forshmak, unfold and carefully sprinkle with dill.
