Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat (preferably beef)
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon oil for frying
  • pepper
  • salt
  • Flour
  • Lovage (Maggi herb) or Maggi
  • 0.25 liter ¼ water or broth

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the finely chopped onion and ground meat. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meat is browned and crumbly.
  2. Pour in 0.25 liters of water or broth. Add the lovage (finely chopped) or use Maggi seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  3. In a cup or small bowl, mix a little flour with some cold water to form a smooth paste without lumps. Stir this mixture into the simmering meat to thicken it.
  4. Simmer for at least 5 more minutes, stirring frequently to prevent the bottom from burning.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
