Ingredients

  • 6 m. Apples
  • Lemon juice
  • 100 g almond (s), round
  • 30 grams sugar

  • 125 ml white wine
  • 125 ml water

  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 8 anise (star anise)

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples and cut out the core. Peel only the upper half of the apples and rub with lemon juice. Mix the almonds with sugar and butter and fill the apples with it.
  2. Place the apples close together in an ovenproof dish and pour in the wine and water. Drizzle each apple with a little honey and sprinkle the broken cinnamon sticks, star anise and grated orange peel over the apples.
  3. Cook in a preheated oven at 180 - 200 ° C for about 50 minutes, pouring the liquid over them several times.
  4. Sprinkle the baked apples with chopped pistachios and serve.
