For glaze (optional):

  • Powdered sugar – 100 g
  • Lemon juice – 20 ml

Christmas Beer Cupcake Instructions

  1. All ingredients must be at the same temperature – room temperature (this is very important)! Add honey, sugar, vanillin, and salt to the softened butter. Beat with a mixer until fluffy.
  2. Beat eggs until fluffy for 10 minutes. Add eggs to butter and stir.
  3. Pre-fry chopped nuts in the oven. Mix flour with soda, nuts, and raisins.

  4. Pour the flour mixture into the liquid ingredients and mix. Pour half (100 ml) of dark beer into the dough. We mix. (I was a little mistaken: according to the recipe, the raisins had to be added after the first addition of beer. But that’s okay, the result will not change.) Add the second half of the beer to the dough, mix.
  5. Grease the cake pan with butter and sprinkle with flour (shake off excess flour).
  6. Pour the dough into a mold. We bake a cake with beer in a preheated oven for 1 hour at 160 degrees. Then another 1 hour at 130 degrees. Be sure to check the readiness of the cake with a wooden stick, it must remain dry.
  7. The finished cake can be decorated with icing if desired. To prepare the icing, mix the icing sugar with lemon juice. The frosting should be thick enough.
  8. Cover the cooled cake with icing.
  9. Bon Appetit!
