Christmas Log with Cottage Cheese Cream “Winter’s Tale”

A quick chocolate roll – a log will decorate your festive table and give a wonderful mood. Easy to prepare with available ingredients. Children will especially like the chocolate roll. The roll has a tasty healthy curd filling. Prepare a Christmas log and make your loved ones happy!

Ingredients

  • egg – 4 pieces
  • flour – 4 tablespoons
  • flour – 3 tablespoon.
  • sugar – 5 tablespoons
  • vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • starch – 1 tablespoon
  • baking powder for dough – 1 teaspoon.
  • cottage cheese 9% fat – 200 g.
  • heavy cream – 4 tablespoon
  • icing sugar – 3 tablespoons
  • dark chocolate – 100 g for decoration

Directions

  1. Add sugar, vanilla sugar to the eggs. Beat everything until fluffy. Add starch, baking powder, flour. Add cocoa powder as well. Beat everything gently with a mixer.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the dough gently on parchment paper and smooth with a spade. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes until dry with a toothpick.
  3. While the biscuit is in the oven, prepare the filling. Add cream, powdered sugar to the curd and beat with a blender.
  4. After 15 minutes, remove the hot chocolate sponge cake and turn it over onto a board covered with baking paper. Then gently turn it over again on a damp towel. Wrap in a roll directly with a towel, leave to lie for 5 minutes, unwind. Spread the biscuit with cottage cheese cream, roll again. Melt the chocolate in a water bath and pour over the roll. Make patterns with a fork. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. And if you wish, you can decorate with berries. I decorated with sea buckthorn. Store the log in the refrigerator until serving.
