Ingredients

  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 200 g cream cheese, natural
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 0.5 ½ pack vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 400 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ cup walnuts or pecans, ground
  • Sugar sprinkles, colorful
  • Nuts (pecans), halved
  • Grease for the tin

Instructions

  1. Mix the first 4 ingredients well until foamy. Then stir in the salt, flour and the finely grated nuts. Chill the dough for an hour.
  2. Then shape several rolls of about 2 - 3 cm in diameter from the dough, wrap in cling film and leave to set overnight in the refrigerator (if you want it to go quickly: put in the freezer for a while).
  3. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C (top / bottom heat) and first roll the slightly thawed rolls of dough in sprinkles with sugar, then cut off cookie slices (about half a centimeter thick) and place on a greased baking sheet. Garnish with half a nut.
  4. Bake the cookies for 14-16 minutes, until they are lightly brown at the bottom. Makes about 60 pieces depending on the size.
