Christmas Gingerbread Cookie

DIY New Year’s and Christmas gingerbread cookies. Homemade gingerbread cookies with honey, cinnamon and nutmeg, delicious and aromatic.

Cook: 1 hour 25 minutes
Ingredients
- Honey – 3 tbsp
- Butter – 125 g
- Egg – 1 pc.
- Flour – 325 g
- Sugar – 90 g
- Ground ginger – 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg – 1/2 teaspoon
- Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
- Citric acid – 1 teaspoon.
- Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
Directions
- Mix butter with all the spices and honey.
- Place in a steam bath until the butter is melted.
- Mix flour with sugar and egg.
- Add the oil mixture to the flour mixture and knead the dough. Let the dough rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Roll out the dough, cut out gingerbread cookies using molds.
Bake honey cookies in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes (cooking time depends on the thickness of the cookie).
