Instructions

  1. Put the plums / plums in a saucepan, cut the marzipan into small pieces and add them, add the spices and puree everything with a hand blender. Add the preserving sugar (I always use dietary preserving sugar to save kcal) and bring to the boil, stirring every now and then so that nothing burns! Boil for 4 minutes (keep stirring) and pour into jars while still hot, screw on lids tightly and turn jars upside down for 10 minutes. Let cool down. The recipe is sufficient for 4 glasses of 440ml each. I always distribute it in many small glasses, it`s a great souvenir. For WW: 1 glass of 440ml has 8.5 p, so 1 teaspoon 0 p.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
