Ingredients

  • 250 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 125 g suar
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 kg apple
  • cinnamon
  • 2 pts. Vanilla pudding powder
  • 500 ml whipped cream
  • 2 point cream stabilizer
  • 750 ml apple cider or wine
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • Cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Make a kneading dough from the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, water and butter and let it rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  2. Then press the dough into a springform pan, make an approx. 4cm high edge. Sprinkle the dough with the breadcrumbs.
  3. Peel the apples and cut into thin slices. Spread on the base and dust with cinnamon.
  4. Prepare a pudding from the pudding powder with apple cider, sugar and vanilla sugar and pour it over the apples while it is still hot.
  5. Bake the cake on top / bottom heat at approx. 180 degrees for about 60 minutes. After this time switch off the oven, open it and leave the cake in the open oven for another hour. Then let it cool down, then put it in the fridge overnight.
  6. The next day, whip the cream with the cream stiffener until stiff and spread it on the cake, dust with cocoa powder.
  7. Note: The cake takes a bit of work, but it is an absolute hit at every coffee party
