Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 260 g flour (if in the house, then also reat, half wholemeal flour)
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • 80 g walnuts, chopped (hazelnuts or almonds also work)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar, (bourbon or homemade 2 teaspoons)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 150 g suar, brown
  • 100 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • 300 ml buttermilk
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the apples and then cut them into very small pieces.
  2. Mix the flour with baking powder, cinnamon, nuts, baking soda, vanilla sugar and apple pieces.
  3. Beat the egg in another bowl and whisk with the sugar, oil and buttermilk. Carefully stir in the flour mixture.
  4. Put out paper liners in a muffin tin and pour in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Let cool down a little (approx. 5 minutes). Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
