Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast
  • 150 ml milk
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 50 g butter, melted
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 400 g flour
  • 2 apples
  • 1 squirt lemon juice
  • 80 g butter, melted
  • 100 g suar, brown
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • Cinnamon sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. For the yeast dough, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and add sugar. Mix the eggs, salt, 50 g melted butter and flour and add the milk mixture. Knead into a dough and let it grow in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, cut the apples into small cubes and drizzle with the lemon juice. Mix 80 g of melted butter with the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Knead the dough again and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/2 cm thick. Cut strips from the rectangle that are the same width and height as the loaf pan.
  4. Layer these strips of dough in the loaf pan and coat each layer with the butter-sugar-cinnamon mixture and top with the apples.
  5. Finally sprinkle the bread with cinnamon sugar and then bake at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes.
