Ingredients

  • 5 onion (s)
  • 2 cans tomato (s), chunky
  • salt and pepper
  • 0.5 ½ bunch basil
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 600 g sausae, (Salsiccia Puliese without fennel)
  • 1 glass water
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), possibly seeds removed
  • some olive oil

Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cut into rings, peel and chop the garlic. Cut the sausage into slices.
  2. Briefly fry the salsiccia in a little olive oil and remove from the pan again. Put onions and garlic in the pan and fry together for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Then add the salsiccia again, stir briefly and deglaze with the tomatoes and water. Add the chopped herbs and season with salt and pepper. Stew for about 45 minutes.
  3. Serve either with fresh white bread or with spaghetti.
