An unusual alternative to the usual breakfast cereals is a bright citrus smoothie bowl with banana and oatmeal. This smoothie is much thicker than the usual fruit and vegetable cocktails and can be eaten with a spoon. Oatmeal adds nutritional value to a thick banana, orange, tangerine, and grapefruit smoothie. A great way to start the day both delicious and beautiful!
Cook: 10 minutes
Ingredients
Banana – 1 pc. (200 g)
Orange – 1 pc. (200 g)
Grapefruit – 1/4 pc. (150 g)
Mandarin – 1-2 pcs. (150 g)
Oatmeal flakes – 50 g
Lemon (juice) – 1 slice
Honey – 1 teaspoon
Poppy – 1 teaspoon
Directions
Peel grapefruit, orange, and tangerine from peels, films, and partitions. Cut the citrus pulp into slices, setting aside a few slices for garnish.
In a blender bowl, combine pieces of grapefruit, orange, and tangerine. Beat on high speed for about 1 minute, until smooth.
Add oatmeal and honey. Squeeze about 1 teaspoon of juice from the lemon and send it to the blender bowl. Beat again on high speed for about a minute.
Peel the banana. Cut the banana pulp into thin slices. Add the banana to the blender bowl (a few slices of banana can be set aside for serving if desired). Beat on high speed for about a minute.
Pour the resulting thick smoothie into a plate. Decorate with fruit slices, sprinkle with poppy seeds. A bright and beautiful citrus banana smoothie bowl is ready.
Bon Appetit!
