Ingredients

  • 400 g sausae, (city sausae), smoked
  • 2 large onions
  • 4 cucumber (s), (pickles)
  • 4 tablespoon vinegar, (white wine vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoon oil, (sunflower oil)
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill

Instructions

  1. Total time: 10 minutes
  2. Peel the city sausage and cut into thin slices. Cut the onions into very fine rings, the pickles into strips or small cubes. Mix everything with the vinegar and oil in a bowl, season with salt and plenty of freshly ground pepper and let it steep in the refrigerator.
  3. There is also fresh farmer`s bread and a cold beer.
  4. TIP: The city sausage is a typical Franconian specialty - a smoked sausage in a ring with lots of marjoram. Alternatively, you could also use hunting sausage or coarse ham sausage. Of course, it no longer tastes original!
