Classic Cupcakes

This is a recipe for muffins. This classic cupcake can be varied with any filling and decorated at your discretion.

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour of the highest grade – 2 glasses
  • White sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
  • Cinnamon (ground) – 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Table salt – 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Fat milk – 3/4 cup
  • Butter (softened) – 1/3 cup
  • Large eggs (slightly beaten) – 2 pcs.

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees. Grease or line 12 muffin tins with paper baskets.
  2. In a large bowl, combine milk, butter and eggs. Add flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and sugar to another bowl. Make a small indentation in the center of the flour mixture and pour the liquid ingredients into it. Knead a homogeneous dough with a fork.
  3. Place the dough in prepared muffin tins, filling 2/3 of the total volume each. Place in a preheated oven and bake until tender, 15-20 minutes. Leave the prepared muffins in the tins on the wire rack until they cool completely. Remove muffins from molds and serve.
