Classic New York Cheesecake

Delicious and tender homemade cheesecake. It is prepared as simply as possible and from readily available products that can almost always be found at home.

Ingredients

  • 150 g shortbread cookies;
  • 75 g butter;
  • 900 g of Philadelphia cheese;
  • 200 g icing sugar;
  • 200 g sour cream, 20% fat;
  • 3 tablespoons flour;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 1 egg yolk;
  • a pinch of vanillin.

Directions

  1. Grind the cookies in a blender, add melted butter to it and mix well. Spread the mixture in an even thin layer over the bottom of a 23 cm mold and compact. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 10 minutes. Then remove and let the base cool.
  2. In the meantime, combine cheese and powdered sugar. Add sour cream and flour and stir again. Add one egg, yolk, and vanillin one at a time, stirring after each ingredient until smooth.
  3. Spread the filling evenly over the base and bake for 45 minutes at 160 ° C.
