  • 50 ml whole milk
  • 150 ml water
  • 25 g oatmeal, tender
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon natural yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons honey, more liquid

Instructions

  1. Put milk and water in a small saucepan and place on the stove. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Then add the oatmeal to the liquid, turn the temperature down and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes until it just simmers. Stir thoroughly with a wooden spoon so that nothing burns. Then add the salt, stir everything well and let simmer for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat, put the lid on the saucepan and let the mixture soak for 5 minutes. Put the porridge in a bowl and serve warm with yogurt and honey. If you like it very traditional, you can boil the porridge with just 200 ml of water and later pour the cold milk over it in the bowl. If you like it fruity, you can cook three prunes cut into small pieces right from the start.
