Cobbler with Peaches

Ingredients

  • Sugar – 1 Glass (+ 1 / 4-1 / 2 cups for filling)
  • Butter – 110 Grams
  • Flour – 1 Glass
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Salt and baking powder – 1 Pinch each
  • Vanilla extract – 1 Teaspoon
  • Peaches – 3-5 Pieces (fresh or canned)

Directions

  1. Place peaches on the bottom of an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with sugar if desired.
  2. Mash sugar with softened butter. Add vanilla extract.
  3. Add the sifted flour, salt and baking powder.
  4. Beat in an egg. This is the consistency of the dough for a cobbler with peaches. If yours is too thick, you can add a couple of tablespoons of water or milk.
  5. Place the dough over the fruit, flatten. Send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown.
