- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 cup / s sugar
- 2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 egg (s)
- 1 glass cherry (s), or similar fruit
- possibly cake topping

- First drain the cherries. If necessary, collect the juice for the icing.
- Mix the dry ingredients. Add the buttermilk, oil and eggs and stir everything briefly with the mixer. Put the very liquid dough on a baking sheet and cover with the drained cherries or other fruit (the cake tastes even without fruit).
- Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° (top / bottom heat) for about 20 minutes.
