Ingredients

  • 4 port. Cod fillet (s)
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 100 ml fish stock, alternatively vegetable stock
  • 1 lemon (s), juice from it, zest half a lemon
  • 1 tablespoon fir honey
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 0.5 ½ glass white wine
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop half the onion. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion pieces in it. Deglaze with white wine and fish stock, add lemon juice, grated zest of half a lemon and forest honey, cook for 2 minutes. Add capers and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  2. In a second pan with olive oil, fry the cod fillets, seasoned with salt and pepper, briefly on both sides. Put the fish fillet in the pan with the sauce, let it stand and serve.
  3. Boiled potatoes or white bread and dry sherry or white wine go well with it.
