Ingredients

  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (s) (size M)
  • 75 g mararine, soft
  • 100 g round almond (s)
  • 2 tablespoon coffee, stronger
  • 50 g chocolate (mocha beans) or
  • Biscuit (s) (Amarettini)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to approx. 180 ° C (top / bottom heat, hot air: approx. 160 ° C, gas: level 2 - 3). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. For the kneading dough, sieve the flour with the baking powder into a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and use a hand mixer (dough hook) to form a dough, first on the lowest, then on the highest setting.
  3. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls and place on the baking sheet. Press the mocha beans deep into the center of each ball.
  4. Slide the tray into the oven on the middle shelf. Bake for about 12 minutes. Remove the pastries with the baking paper from the tray and let them cool on a wire rack.
