Ingredients

  • 200 g chicken breast fillet (s), optionally pork fillet
  • 3 bell pepper (s)
  • 2 onion (s), red
  • 200 g cherry tomato (s)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon herbs, Italian (frozen), optionally fresh herbs
  • 1 cucumber (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 50 g creme léère
  • 150 g yourt, low-fat
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 slices bacon, lean, thin

Instructions

  1. Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into finger-thick slices. Halve the peppers, remove the stones and partitions, wash and cut into bite-sized pieces. Wash the tomatoes. Peel and cut the onions into eighths. Put everything in a bowl.
  2. Mix the olive oil with lemon juice and herbs and mix with the meat and vegetables in the bowl. Let it steep for about 30 minutes.
  3. For the tsatsiki, wash the cucumber thoroughly, halve it lengthways, remove the core and grate it in a bowl. Peel and squeeze the garlic. Stir in the crème légère and yoghurt, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Remove the meat, peppers, tomatoes and onions from the marinade and place them alternately on skewers, also with the bacon. Salt and pepper and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Grill in the hot oven for 10 minutes (if possible only top heat). Turn at least three times.
  5. Serve with the tsatziki.
