I’m making a holiday salad today. Delicious, bright and mouth-watering, made from available ingredients. This salad will definitely please the guests and will decorate the festive table!

Ingredients
Crab sticks – 250 g
Hard cheese – 150 g
Bulgarian yellow pepper – 1 pc.
Bulgarian red pepper – 1 pc.
Tomato – 1 pc.
Bulb onions – 1 pc.
Lemon (juice) – 0.5 pcs.
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Sour cream – 3 tbsp
Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
Garlic – 1-2 cloves
Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
Dry mustard – 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
For decoration (chips):
Refined vegetable oil – 2.5 tbsp
Flour – 1 teaspoon
Water – 5 tbsp
Directions
We will prepare the necessary ingredients for preparing the salad.
Cut the onion into half rings.
Add sugar and lemon juice to the chopped onion. Stir, leave to marinate.
Cooking salad dressing. Add mayonnaise, salt, paprika and mustard to sour cream. We mix. Rub the garlic on a fine grater, add to the dressing. Mix thoroughly and set aside (the dressing should be infused).
Cut the crab sticks into circles, transfer to the salad bowl.
Pepper is cleaned of seeds and partitions. Cut into thin strips. We leave part of the chopped peppers (red and yellow) to decorate the salad, send the rest to the salad bowl.
Cut the tomato into 4-6 parts, clean it of seeds and excess moisture. Cut obliquely. We put it in a salad bowl.
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, put it in a salad bowl.
Free the onion from the marinade and send it to the salad bowl.
Mix the salad and add the prepared dressing. Stir together with the dressing.
Cooking decorative chips. Add vegetable oil and flour to the water. Mix the mass thoroughly with a whisk until smooth.
Pour the dough for chips into a hot frying pan and wait for the liquid to evaporate.
These are the decorative chips.
Put the Coral Reef salad in a ring (we will serve in portions), tamp it tightly. Carefully remove the ring.
Decorate the salad with chopped peppers and cooked chips, imitating coral.
