Ingredients

  • 150 g corn rits
  • 400 g potato (s)
  • 100 ml water, from boiling the potatoes,
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, e.g. sunflower oil
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 packet tartar baking powder
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes in salted water until soft and puree. Take aside 100 ml of the cooking water. Mix and knead all ingredients well. Shape into bread.
  2. Bake at 170 ° C for approx. 35 minutes. Let dry in the switched off oven.
  3. Tastes best with butter.
