Instructions

  1. First peel the potatoes. Cut the onion, potatoes, garlic and tomato into small cubes.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and add the diced potatoes and fry until lightly brown. Then add the diced onions and the chopped garlic and fry briefly. When the onions are translucent, add the chopped tomatoes and fry again briefly.
  3. Add the corned beef, stir in and let simmer for a few minutes over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper, turn the heat down and simmer the hash until the potatoes are tender. Stir frequently so that nothing burns.
  4. Rice goes well with this.
  5. Tips:
  6. You can also change the order and fry the onions and garlic first and then add the potatoes.
  7. And you can leave out the tomatoes - but then add a sip of water while simmering.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
