Today I will show you how to cook a curd casserole in the oven. We need cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, semolina, butter. And on request – candied fruits or raisins, vanillin, sesame seeds.
Ingredients
Cottage cheese – 380 g
Semolina – 3 tbsp
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Butter – 50 g
Eggs – 3 pcs.
Candied fruits or raisins (optional)
Sesame seeds (optional)
Directions
To make the casserole very airy, similar to a soufflé, it is better to do everything with a mixer or grind the cottage cheese through a sieve. If you like large grains of cottage cheese in a casserole, then simply mix all the ingredients
I melt the butter in the container in which I will bake the curd casserole. It is advisable that the oil is not hot when we add it to other ingredients. So, the oven was turned on to warm up, the butter was melted, candied fruits or raisins were poured with boiling water and we will start preparing the curd mass for the casserole, it will take about 10 minutes.
Break the eggs into a bowl. Add sugar and vanillin. Then add the semolina. I decided to add semolina to the liquid ingredients so that it had time to swell a little. Add melted butter. Mix and add cottage cheese and candied fruits.
While the curd mass for the casserole is being mixed, I prepare the baking dish – I grease it well with oil, more precisely, I distribute the oil that remains in the form.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the mold. I do all this in order to make it easier to get the curd casserole out of the mold. But you can sprinkle the mold with semolina, for example.
We shift the curd mass into the prepared form and distribute it evenly so that in the end it turns out beautifully. Sprinkle with seeds again on top
We send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees and wait for the curd casserole to brown – 30-40 minutes.
