Cottage Cheese Casserole with Cherries and Sand Crumbs

Delicate curd casserole with cherries under a layer of crispy chocolate dough looks very appetizing.

Servings:6

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 400 g
  • Egg – 1 pcs.
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Sour cream 20% – 2 tbsp
  • Semolina – 2 tbsp
  • Cherries, frozen or fresh – 12-15 pcs.

For the test:

  • Flour – 60 g
  • Cocoa powder – 1.5 tbsp
  • Butter – 30 g + for greasing the mold
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Water – 1 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar – for decoration

Directions

  1. For the chocolate dough, combine flour, sugar, salt, and cocoa.
  2. Add the grated butter and crush with your hands. Add 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of cold water.
  3. Collect the dough into a lump, wrap in plastic wrap, and put in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  4. Mix cottage cheese with sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg. Add sour cream and grind into a homogeneous mass. Add semolina, mix well, and leave for 20 minutes.
  5. Cover the baking dish with parchment, grease with a little oil. Put the curd mass into the mold. Put the cherries (pitted) on top of the cottage cheese, press in slightly.
  6. Remove the dough from the freezer, grate on a coarse grater and distribute evenly over the curd mass.
  7. Put the form in an oven heated to 180 degrees and bake for 1 hour. Then turn off the oven, and leave the cottage cheese casserole for another 10-15 minutes.
  8. Delicious, tender, and fragrant cottage cheese casserole with cherries and the grated chocolate dough is ready. Sprinkle icing sugar on the casserole before serving.
