Cottage Cheese-Lemon Casserole with Semolina Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese 5-9% – 500-600 g
  • Semolina – 1 tbsp
  • Wheat flour – 1 tbsp
  • Egg – 1-2 pcs.
  • Lemon – 1 pc.
  • Sugar – 60 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 5-10 g
  • Sour cream – 1 tbsp
  • Butter – for greasing the mold

For decoration:

  • Raspberries – 5-6 pcs.
  • Blackberries – 2-3 pcs.
  • Red currant – 2-3 branches
  • Black currant – 2-3 branches
  • Mint – 1-2 branches
  • Powdered sugar – to taste

Cottage Cheese-Lemon Casserole with Semolina Instructions

  1. Wash the lemon and dry it. Remove the zest. Set aside a little to decorate the casserole.

  2. We grind the cottage cheese with the egg, removing coarse grain. Add sugar and vanilla sugar. We mix. Add semolina and flour. Mix again.
  3. Throw in the lemon zest and knead the curd dough. Grease the refractory form with softened butter.
  4. We spread the curd mixture into a mold and level with a spoon. Cover with a layer of sour cream on top. We send it to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for about forty minutes, until golden brown. Then we cool and serve.
  5. If desired, the ready-made lemon-curd casserole can be garnished with fresh berries, lemon zest, and slices, mint leaves, or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
  6. Cut into portions and serve, pouring sour cream or honey, if desired. Such a juicy casserole goes well with tea, coffee, compote, or fruit drink.
